We’re Simone Neuberg and Alexandra Mitchell, two high school students who started The Beauty Bridge as a passion project. We’ve been best friends for seven years and have always loved beauty—the feeling of opening a new product, that little boost of confidence it gives you.

But we know not everyone in LA has access to that experience. Beauty can feel like a luxury, but it’s really about self-expression and confidence. That’s why we created Beauty Bridge—to make that feeling available to everyone, no matter their circumstances.

We began by brainstorming how to make our vision a reality. Since we don’t manufacture our own products or sell for profit, we knew we had to rely on partnerships and donations. Here’s how we make it happen:

1. Sourcing Products – We reach out to beauty brands, retailers, and companies willing to donate surplus or gently used products that would otherwise go to waste.

2. Curating Kits – Once we receive inventory, we carefully organize the products into themed kits, ensuring that each one provides a meaningful and cohesive selection.

3. Designing Packaging – We create eco-friendly packaging that suits the products and maintains a sense of luxury and care.

4. Distribution – We work with local shelters, community organizations, and schools to distribute these kits to women and teens who would benefit from them the most.
